About me
The daughter of a Conservative rabbi and a Jewish historian, I was lovingly steeped in Jewish practice and learning from an early age. After earning a B. A. in music from Brandeis University, I spent nearly 20 years as a piano teacher and an early childhood music specialist. Then, I embarked on a wonderful adventure, studying at the Jewish Theological Seminary (Conservative/Masorti), where I earned my rabbinic ordination and an M. A. in Bible. In my rabbinic career, I have had the honor of serving in major American congregations, enjoying interactions with people of diverse ages and interests, and ministering to both Jewish and non-Jewish incarcerated people in women's prisons.
Now as a freelancer, I am delighted to offer classes and private instruction, synagogue and life cycle officiation. Click the button below for details of my various offerings.
