About me

The daughter of a Conservative rabbi and a Jewish historian, I was lovingly steeped in Jewish practice and learning from an early age. After earning a B. A. in music from Brandeis University, I spent nearly 20 years as a piano teacher and an early childhood music specialist. Then, I embarked on a wonderful adventure, studying at the Jewish Theological Seminary (Conservative/Masorti), where I earned my rabbinic ordination and an M. A. in Bible. Over the next 16 fruitful years, I served in major American congregations, enjoying interactions with people of diverse ages and interests.

Now I am delighted to offer a broad range of private instruction and classes, and to serve the wider Jewish community in a wide range of rabbinic functions. Click the button below for details of my current offerings.
